I have reserved ‘glorious’ to describe Biri Island.

Over the past 2 years that I have been traveling leisurely in the different tourist spots of the Philippines, from uninhabited island beaches to mesmerizing waterfalls to breathtaking mountain peaks, somehow, Biri Island remains to be my number one most beautiful place that I have been!

This is a real beauty. It doesn’t demand attention. It just stood there, self-sufficient. As it is situated at the tip of Northern Samar, these majestic rocks are rarely flocked by tourists. And I can understand why. It is not only because of the long butt-numbing land trip but because of the sporadic weather conditions. Amount of rain, wind, and waves can transform this serene picture-perfect postcard-worthy spot to angry, vicious, and ready to swallow-you-whole disaster.

This was the actual itinerary for 3 people back in May 2014.
